First off, ensure you have set up Zoho CRM integration.
Let’s take an example of a new website visitor requesting an on-site demo by a sales agent. When he clicks on the chat bar on your website, he will see a form like this.
Once he submits the form, your chat operators can attend to him as per normal. The magic comes one the visitor starts the chat. Your agent will be able to see all past ZohoCRM cases for the visitor. He has also able click the ‘View Contact’ button to see more information regarding the visitor on Zoho.
At any time you can click the “Create Ticket” button to create a case within ZohoCRM, alternatively one will be automatically created, if you had selected the option to create a case automatically after chat ends while setting up the integration.
This immediately creates a case on Zoho CRM. All vital information from the chat, including the transcript, country, IP address, etc.. are included within the case description. The sales representative attending to the visitor would have all these information at his fingertips prior to contacting the visitor.
That’s not all! What’s interesting is when John returns to the site at a later time. Let’s say he wants to arrange a phone meeting instead. Instead of having to repeat himself all over again, Zopim looks up Zoho CRM, and provides the visitor’s Zoho CRM profile and overview of tickets to the chat operators attending to him. This is done by looking up John’s email within Zoho CRM.
