Two weeks ago we launched the Help Haiyan Victims campaign to raise awareness and funding for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Our goal was in two parts.
First, we wanted to get our network of users to change their Zopim widget to our custom “Help Haiyan Victims” theme.
Our aim was to put the devastation caused by Typhoon Haiyan front and center on everyone’s homepage. Thanks to Zopim Live Chat, this was readily accomplished.
Altogether, 710 of our users converted their widget theme and in total this accounted for millions of pageviews.
The second component of our mission was to obtain as many donations as possible. As of today, we managed to raise a total of $20,035 for the children who have been affected by Typhoon Haiyan. The money was collected using Crowdrise and distributed by UNICEF.
Thanks for your Support!
We really appreciate the contribution made by each and every one of you. We will be ending our campaign today and removing the widget theme. But if you would like to donate, please go ahead.
