Here’s a small present from us folks at Zopim. A new CRM integration interface! The new face lift of our CRM integration will help us round up an amazing year for Zopim with a little something for our users.
Integrations with your favorite Customer Relationship Management systems – or just CRM for short – just got better. Information pulled from your CRM will now be integrated seamlessly into visitors information panel which is at the right hand side of the chat window.
Of course, the new face lift is not just another pretty face, it has practical purposes too. The old method of integration was to provide you with a link at the start and end of the conversation which would lead you to a page where you could retrieve and enter new information into the CRMs. But the new integration method places more power at your fingertips.
Clicking on the button to display more information will bring up a new tab where you can log into your chosen CRM and retrieve more information regarding your customer. This means that if you need to access your customer’s information half way through the chat you no longer need to scroll all the way up to the top of the chat and click on the link provided, all the information is just a click away.
On top of that, you will now be able to create entries in your favorite CRMs within the same window that you use to chat. You no longer have to leave the dashboard just to create a new note in your CRM, you can now do it all within the Zopim dashboard interface. We believe little tweaks such as these will allow you to deliver Customer Wow with greater efficiency!
The devil is in the details, no issue is too insignificant to be addressed and no change is too small to be made. If you have a suggestion or a pet peeve, create a topic on our Uservoice or leave us a comment, if it gains traction with other users, we will definitely take a look at the issue.
Update: Check out the CRM systems supported by Zopim here.

You mention a lot about “your favourite CRM” but there’s no links to what CRMs you actually support. Is this limited to certain ones that you’ve developed integration with, or is it possible to literally use “our favourite one” (e.g. including custom / bespoke in-house developed)?
Some links to more information about this would really help make sure all of your users can take full advantage of the feature.
Hey Damien! Thanks for the feedback, you made a good point I’ve updated the post to link to a list of supported CRMs. Do check them out
Hey Jeremy!
Is there some documentation on how to implement the integration?
Thanks!
Jay
Hi Jay, yes in fact we do. Just search for ‘Integration’ on our blog and you’ll find the individual pages that teach you how to get them set up.
I think I should look into how I can make them easily found though
Thanks for the feedback!
Very good, well done.
May I suggest you consider WHMCS.com integration please?
Lost of hosting providers use it so win/win
Thank you
It certainly is something we are looking at once again
